![]() ![]() Still, all in all an easy to use and very convenient app.įast forward to 10 days ago.I can’t make heads or tails of what’s happened. If I had one complaint about it it would be that the items you selected appeared on your shopping list in the order you selected them instead of by their location in the store. I have religiously shopped at Giant for two and a half years using the old version of this app and it was wonderful. Please reach out to us at 1-88 if you have other suggestions. Thank you for providing your valuable feedback! We have shared this with our development team. Why did they ever decide to combine them? So, the in store shoppers are complaining because this combined function app isn't as clean and easy to use as its predecessor because of the extra clutter and the on-line shoppers are complaining because it's not as clean and easy to use as Peapod. There is an awful lot of clutter for features I never need or use. It feels like this was designed first as a tool for in store shopping, with on line ordering tacked in. The feature is there but it never actually shows me the offered substitute item like Peapod did. I still don't like this app as well as the old Peapod app it replaced. My store is quite fast about bringing out my groceries after I arrive. I really like the Past Purchases listings. I really like being able to add things to my cart when I think of them, then finish the order when I'm ready to pick up. ![]() I mostly use this for curbside pickup but also a few times for delivery. ![]() Our family always takes care of your family like our own. They feature a creamy yogurt coating with a chewy strawberry puree center. Their version of yogurt fruit snacks is a delicious way to enjoy the taste of (almost) Yogos. In terms of consistency and taste, Welch’s Fruit’n Yogurt Snacks are a close second. Similar Yogos alternatives Photo from Amazon Thanks for letting us know what you’d like to see in the future!- Kellogg’s May 5, 2018ĭespite petitions that are still actively commented on to this day, Kellogg’s stance seems to be firm. Hello! While there are no current plans for Yogos to make a comeback, we appreciate your interest. The last words on Yogos by Kellogg’s remain the same: until further notice, Yogos are indefinitely discontinued. Will Yogos ever come back on the shelves? This caused a lot of problems and friction for Kellogg’s supply chain. The oil in the yogurt shell would cause spoilage of the fruit inside. Why would they “waste” time and money on a product with low-profit margins? Especially when using grain and sugar to make cereals brings a way higher profit margin.Īnother issue with Yogos was the potential for spoilage in the yogurt coatings. The yogurt fruit snacks were too expensive to produce and ship from the factory to wholesalers to a grocery store near you, so they were discontinued. When were Yogos discontinued?Īfter being introduced to the shelves in around 2005, Kellogg’s discontinued the Yogos product line around the early 2010s. Perhaps it is because they are so delicious, they do not last very long. There is a saying in some of their awesome commercials that goes, “Slow go on the Yogos”. In this yogurty product line, they even came out with Yogos Rollers. Those who remember eating Yogos might remember some variations such as the sour ones: If you had a bag of these in school, you were cool. Bite-sized balls of sweet, fruity goodness that are covered in a hard yogurt coating. For those that need an introduction, Yogos are one of the world’s many lost treasures. ![]()
